Jack, Carmen and Nancy, I closed on the sale of my home at 50 Blue Heron Way today. Thank you for all of your guidance and support. With your advise, not only did I save 3% commission, I feel I was able to sell it with high confidence without having to pay the added expense of a traditional listing broker. I was able to track the number of views I was getting on Zillow and Trulia and was able to tell that I was getting as many views as the best listing brokers in my area. Also important is the fact that NJ has the 1% tax over $1M, so I knew that $999K was where I would likely end up (which is exactly what happened), so saving the extra $30K was helpful. Good morning! Just wanted to make sure I contacted you. As you probably know, we sold our home, settlement was 9/2/11! Everything went well! Jack, we love working with you guys! You've always been top notch in customer service. I think there's a reason why you have an A+ rating, and it's that type of service we did not get from the traditional broker who listed our home for 6 months. She had "SOLD" signs in my neighborhood, I called and she told me how many home she "SOLD". She listed me on the MLS and I was not able to speak to her directly again. I was referred to you by a friend, I learned that the homes that were "SOLD" are not by the listing borker, rather a buyer agent in my town. Sometimes I wonder how the listing agents justify making 3% commission and doing nothing more than taking some photos in my home.
